Add/Update Information: Sohail Idris - Writer

Lebanese writer born in Beirut in 1925. He studied at the Faculty of Shariaa. He began working in journalism in 1939 but quit shortly after to continue his postgraduate studies in Paris. He cofounded Al Adaab in 1953 with Bahig Othman and Mounir Al Baalbaki and cofounded Dar Al Adaab in 1956 with Nizar Qabbani. His works include Fire and Ice (1948) and They Are All Women (1949), among others. He died on 19 February 2008.
