A Bulgarian boxer, born in Sofia, Bulgaria. He finished second at the World Championships in Havana, Cuba, in 1974, winning the silver medal after losing to Ayoub Kalule of Uganda in the final. He then won the bronze medal at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, Canada. In addition to his athletic career, he appeared in several American films, most notably Hitman (2007), The Legend of Hercules (2014), The Code (2009), and The Fourth Kind (2009). |
