An American director, producer, and writer. He was born on July 23, 1965, in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. He graduated from El Dorado High School in 1983. He went to the University of Kansas and earned a BA degree in film production from the University of Southern California. He is known for The West Wing (2001-2006), Game of Thrones (2013-2014) and The Crude Oasis (1993). He received a Humanitas Prize for his work on the episode "NSF Thurmont." He received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for two episodes he directed, The West Wing: 2162 Votes (2005) and "Posse Comitatus," in the series The West Wing (2001-2006). |
