Dalia Saad |
A Palestinian writer, born in Jerusalem in 1952. She lived in Jericho, where her father worked as a doctor. In 1967, she moved with her family to Jordan, where she studied at the University of Jordan. She also obtained a BA in General Psychology and Philosophy from Beirut Arab University and the Lebanese University. After 1982, she lived in Damascus and then moved to Tunisia. Among her novels is Stars of Jericho, and among her short story collections is Stories of Love and Chasing. Her work has been translated into many languages. In addition to writing, she directed a number of documentaries, including The Green Bird.
