A French-Algerian actor and director, born Kaddour Merad in Sidi Bel Abbes, western Algeria. He moved to France. He won the César Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2007 for his role in Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas (2006). He is known for Les choristes (2004). In 2012, he also produced a documentary film about Algeria, in which he was the narrator. |
