A French-Algerian actor and director, born in Sidi Bel Abbes, western Algeria, moved to France. His real name is Kaddour Merad. He won the César Award for Best Supporting Role in 2007 for his role in Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas (2006). He is known for Les choristes (2004). In 2012, he also produced a documentary film about Algeria, in which he was the narrator. |
