An American actor, born in New York, on July 16, 1965. He began his career as a hip-hop singer before deciding to turn to acting. He appeared in a number of small roles in several films, most notably Galaxy Quest and 10 Things I Hate About You. Mitchell gained fame after participating in a number of television shows such as The John Larroquette Show and Veronica's Closet and got his biggest break in 2009 when he starred in the series Brothers. In 2001, Mitchell was injured in a car accident, which caused him to be wheelchair-bound, but with the support of his family and a number of famous actors such as Denzel Washington and Chris Tucker, Mitchell continued his career.
