An Egyptian radio writer who received a bachelor's degree in commerce from Ain Shams University in 1954 and a postgraduate diploma in media (radio and television) in 1972. He worked as a broadcaster at the Sudanese Corner and became the head of the local radio network and the Voice of the Arabs network. He also worked as the vice-head of the Egyptian radio, and he remained in this position until he was retired in 1993. His most important radio works include Justice and Light and Sinbad of the Nile.
