An Egyptian presenter and TV director who graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Journalism, in 1959 and worked as an intern journalist at Akhbar el-Yom newspaper. Then she started working on television in March 1959. She worked as an assistant director and started to produce, direct, and present programs. She filmed many patriotic songs on movie tapes and presented more than 400 documentaries to the TV library. She presented the programs Information and Facts and Coming Home. She then went on to work in women's programs and worked as an assistant director on air. She filmed the first music video, which was a song by Sayed Darwish called "Ana Hawait Wentahait" and employed the artist Seif Wanly to paint paintings about ballet, thus creating a mixture of ballet as a Western art and Eastern music. She is known for the TV special The Missing. She passed away on December 18, 2018. |
