Egyptian writer and translator, born in 1908 in Cairo. He received his primary studies in its schools. He completed his studies at the School of Arts. After graduating, he was appointed to the Postal Service as the keeper of the Postal Museum. He reached the position of general manager. He mastered the English language, he was the founder of the weekly series Pocket Novels. He is also the owner of the “Masamarat al-Jib” series of magazines in which the great writers of the twentieth century were writing. He also issued the cinematic magazine “The Studio” which was considered one of the most important art magazines in Egypt in the period between 1947 and 1951. He died on 15 December, 1986.
