An American actor, born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. He enrolled at a military academy before enlisting in the US Navy. In 1944, during World War II, he took part in the invasion of the Normandy area in France. He attended St. Lawrence University after the war to study English. After graduating, he became a broadcaster and worked on the radio, in addition to television networks, such as CBS and ABC. He participated in That Kind of Woman (1959) and The Born Losers (1967).
