Barbara was a member of the jury of the Cannes Film Festival in 1999, which was chaired by David Cronenberg. She recorded more than eighty music discs for international record companies such as Sony and recorded between 1995 and 2000. In 1983 and 2004, she released more than fifty exclusive discs with EMI Classics, and in 2006 she founded her own company, Arte Verum.
