An Egyptian singing trio that appeared at the end of the fifties coinciding with the union between Egypt and Syria on February 22, 1958. The band initially included Sanaa El Barony and Safaa Lutfi, and then Wafaa Mustafa joined them. Composer Ali Ismail called them El Tholathy El Mareh (The Merry Trio).
The three of them graduated from the Arab Music Institute and were distinguished by their social work, such as their songs for social and political occasions, weddings, and birthdays. They released about 88 songs and became known for the songs "Wahawy Ya Wahawy," "Aho Geh Ya Wlad," and "Halawet Shamsena."
They stopped singing at the end of the sixties after getting married, as Wafaa traveled to the State of Kuwait and worked as a music teacher. Before that, she worked as a teaching assistant at Al-Azhar University. Sanaa married director Hassan El Emam, and Safaa married director Sami Abu El Nour.
