Algerian singer, guitarist, and lyricist born in the Bab El-Oued neighborhood of the Algerian capital, Algeria in 1972. She was influenced by her upbringing in a family interested in music. She began her artistic career in the late eighties with the Triana band Algeria and also obtained a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. At the end of the nineties, she decided to settle in France and released a number of successful albums. She acted in The Eyes of Thieves (2014). |
