Salma El-Sharkawy |
An American producer, writer, and director. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from Mumford High School in Detroit in 1960. At the age of five, he had a passion for theater, and he went on to act in and direct plays in high school. Before enrolling at New York University in 1962, he studied for two years at Wayne State University in Detroit. He also took a screenwriting course while studying and worked in a range of jobs, such as writing screenplays and providing voice acting for artistic shows. He is known for Ghost (1990) and Deep Impact (1998).
