A French actress and singer, born on March 22, 1949, in Saumur, France. She studied at the Institut d'études politiques d'Aix-en-Provence. Her first appearance was on stage in 1974. Fanny Ardant received several awards and nominations, including a César Award for Best Actress. She was the partner of filmmaker François Truffaut, with whom she had a daughter. She is known for Confidentially Yours (1983), Beyond the Clouds (1995), and 8 Women (2002). |
