Salma El-Sharkawy |
An American writer, producer, and director. He was born in New York, United States, of English and Scottish origins, and a father of Russian origins. He was the son of silent film actress Beatrice Carpenter. During his studies at Columbia University in New York, he took part in the yearly Varsity Show. He began his career as a radio and television scriptwriter, although he also worked as an actor, stage manager, and occasional performer. He is known for How to Murder Your Wife (1965), Lord Love a Duck (1966), and The Secret Life of an American Wife (1968). He died in Los Angeles, California, in the United States.
