Salma El-Sharkawy |
An American actor, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA, to Ukrainian immigrants. He studied at Drake University. After receiving his training at the Art Institute of Chicago's Goodman School of Drama, he started performing with theatrical companies in Chicago and northern Wisconsin, where he assisted in founding the Peninsula Players Theatre in 1937. Later, he worked at Broadway theaters in New York. He also participated in a number of cinematic works in addition to his theatrical work. |
