He started his career with comedies, then moved to police films, where critics consider him the one who introduced the actorLouis de Funès to the public in Taxi, Trailer and Corrida (1958). Among his famous films are Fantomas (1964), Fantomas Unleashed (1965), and Fantomas vs. Scotland Yard (1967). He died on November 27, 1985 in Nice. |
