American film actor, comedian, born on April 26, 1890, in Monterey County, California. He started his life working many jobs, including: becoming a boxer, and a singer. He made his debut when he sang in musical performances. He moved to Los Angeles, participating in about 500 films, including: My Dream Is Yours (1949), Going Ga-Ga (1929), and Miss Fatty's Seaside Lovers (1915). He died of throat cancer on November 9, 1948. |
