American actress, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and raised between there and Nashville, Tennessee. She went to Texas Christian University, where she earned two degrees in four years, a BFA in acting and a BA in music. She moved to New York City after graduation, and her career has spanned film, television, and stage. Behind Bars (2002) marked her feature film debut. She is best known for her roles in the films Blindspot (2018), Madam Secretary (2017), and Nashville (2017).
