An American actress, born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 30, 1920. She was discovered by MGM after performing on Broadway, and her first movie roles were in Follies Girl (1943), The Princess and the Pirate (1944) and Wonder Man (1945). Virginia May died on January 17, 2005 in Thousand Oaks, California, of heart failure and acute pneumonia.
