An American actress, born in New Jersey. She was the sister of actress Molly O'Day. She began her artistic career in vaudeville, then participated in silent films. At the age of seventeen, she began her career with the movie Yes, Yes, Nanette (1925). She is known for Broadway Scandals (1929), The Brat (1931), and Too Tough to Kill (1935). By the late 1930s, her film career was over, but she continued to work on stage. She died in Galesburg, Illinois.
