An American actress, born in New Jersey. She is the sister of actress Molly O'Day. She began her artistic career in the popular theater of Vaudeville, then participated in silent cinema films. At the age of seventeen, she began her career with the movie Yes, Yes, Nanette (1925). She is known for Broadway Scandals (1929), The Brat (1931), and Too Tough to Kill (1935). By the late 1930s, her film career was over, but she continued to work on stage. She died in Galesburg, Illinois.
