French film actor, novelist, and playwright. He was born in New York City and immigrated in the late 1960s to Paris. At the end of the seventies, he founded the Théâtre de la Sapience (its name means Theater of Wisdom or Reason), through which he sought to revive the Baroque era and the method of delivery that was prevalent in it. Then he entered the world of cinema and directed several works, including La Sapienza (2014), Faire la parole (2015), Le mur des morts (2022), and Le monde vivant (2003).
