A Kuwaiti poet, born in 1955 in Basra, Iraq. She grew up in a religious family known as The Sheikh's House and studied in Kuwait, starting from kindergarten until she graduated from Kuwait University with a BA of Arts from the Department of Philosophy. She became the Secretary General of the National Council for Culture and Arts. She loved literature since her childhood, namely the poems of Al-Mutanabi, Al-Jawahiri, Al-Sayyab, and others. She wrote her first poem at the end of high school. She participated in many cultural events in Baghdad, Yemen, Jordan, and Algeria. Her collections of poetry include From the Gardens of Flame (1988) and The Tragedy (1991).
