American actress, born on November 20, 1969 in Boston. She studied theater and literature at Wheaton University and Lee Strasberg Theatre. She began her career in 1996 when she participated in the comedy film Ed's Next Move. Despite her good start in Hollywood, she continued to participate in minor roles in film and television until she starred in the series Necessary Roughness in 2011. This role earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. The success of the series led to two more parts for it, but due to production conditions, the series was canceled despite its success after the end of the third season. |
