Christina Aziz |
An Egyptian poet, born in 1942 in Bella, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. He obtained a BA of Commerce in 1966, worked as publishing director at Dar Al Maaref, and became a part-time professor of children's literature at the Faculty of Education at Helwan University. He wrote numerous poetry collections such as The Road and the Confused Heart (1967), and Searching for the Unknown Circle (1973). He received many awards, including an honorary doctorate from California in 1990, and the Andalusian Prize for Poetry in 1997. His work includes the play The Flying Horse.
