Gert Fröbe was a German actor born in Saxony, on February 25, 1913 as Karl Gerhart. He won several awards, including the Ernst Lubitsch Award and the San Sebastián International Film Festival Award in 1961, the Laurel Award in 1965 for the movie Goldfinger (1964), and the Bambi Award in 1967 for the movie Is Paris Burning (1966), and in 1984 he won the Golden Camera Award. Fropp represents German arrogance and performs his roles seriously and rigorously, even his comedic roles are in the same way. H is best known for his role in the movie Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines or How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 Hours 11 Minutes (1965).
