A Greek writer, born in Chania, Crete, Greece. She graduated from the Faculty of Law. She is also known for her work in Greek cinema. She worked as a cartoonist for the newspaper Rizospastis and other newspapers. She wrote the film Brides in 2004, and her novel Mikra Anglia in 2004 won the Greek National Prize for Literature and was turned into a film entitled Little England in 2013, which describes the life of a sailor family on the island of Andros.
