A Norwegian director of Iraqi Kurdish origins, born in 1975. His short film Bawke (2005) won more than 40 local and international awards. His first feature film, Before Snowfall (2013), won the Best Nordic Film Award at the Göteborg Film Festival, and he also served as a writer and director in Letter to the King (2014). |
