His other notable works include Pressure Point (1962) and If a Man Answers (1962). His songs were also featured in the soundtracks of many works such as the film Passengers (2016). He married actress Sandra Dee (1960-1960) and they had one son and then remarried for only five months before he died during heart surgery on 20 December 1973 in Los Angeles, California, US.
