Rosina Lawrence was a British-Canadian actress and singer, born in Westborough, Ontario, on December 30, 1912 as Rosina May Lawrence, and died in New York City, on June 23, 1997, of cancer. She studied ballet for four years, took singing lessons, learned acting, and performed school plays at a young age. She made her debut through the movie A Lady of Quality (1924). The most important movies in which she acted include: Charlie Chan's Secret (1936), and Pick a Star (1937).
