He also participated in the Universities Championship that was held in Paris in 1947, and in the Mediterranean Championship that was held in Greece in 1948. He retired in 1951, while he was in the peak of his stardom. He participated in many cinematic works as the movie Air Devils. He died on December 16, 2014 at the age of 95.
