Barbara Windsor is a British actress who was born in Shoreditch, London, on August 6, 1937 as Barbara Ann Deeks, and died in London, on December 10, 2020, of Alzheimer's disease. Barbara Windsor was nominated for a BAFTA Award in 1964, won the British Soap Awards for Best Actress in 1999, and won the same award in 2009 for Outstanding Career Achievement. Barbara Windsor has three husbands and has no children. Barbara Windsor made her pantomime debut in 1950, the musical Love from Judy (1952), and her film debut was in The Belles of St. Trinian's (1954). Her first appearance on a TV series was through Dreamer's Highway (1954). She is best known for her roles in Alice in Wonderland (2010), and Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016).
