David Edward Kelley is an American writer and producer. He was born on April 4, 1956 in Waterville, Maine, USA. He attended Princeton University and Boston University School of Law. He married actress Michelle Pfeiffer in November 1993 and they have two children. He became the first producer to win Emmy and Golden Globe Awards in both the Outstanding/Best Drama Series and Outstanding/Best Comedy Series categories in the same year (1999). His works include L.A. Law (1986-1992) and The Practice (1997-2004). |
