An American comedian born in Paterson, New Jersey, on March 6, 1906. He received 3 Stars on the Walk of Fame for his work in film, television and radio. Castillo did not complete high school, and worked as a carpenter for MGM, then worked in the theater as a clown, after which he participated in theatrical performances. In 1931, he met the actor Bud Abbott and they formed a comedy duo that became very famous. Among his most important movies: Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948), Lost in Alaska (1952), and Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy (1955).
