A Mexican actress and model of Uruguayan, Mexican and Japanese ancestry, who became famous for her participation in the series Rubi. She was born on February 2, 1978 in Montevideo, Mexico. She started working as a model independently and later became an actress at Azteca, the second major Mexican television network, founded in 1993. Bárbara Mori later studied at El Centro de Estudios de Formacion Actoral. She acted in the movie Kites (2010).
