An American actor, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on October 31, 1902. He participated in many musicals in the thirties and forties, and in 1947 he turned to Hollywood. He worked on many films, as well as on television, in addition to his stage career. Franz died on February 10, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Among his most notable work: The Thing From Another World (1951), The Ten Commandments (1956), Hatari (1962), and the TV series Breaking Point (1963-1964). |
