Add/Update Information: Wagih George - Director

An Egyptian director who did not complete his studies at the Faculty of Agriculture, where he spent three years from 1977 to 1980, as he left it to study cinema. He graduated from the Academy of Arts at the Higher Institute of Cinema in Cairo in 1985. He made several films, starting with Destined to Fall, a short narrative film, which was his graduation film, and Your Servant, the King (1991), a documentary about the life and art of William Isaac. He also presented his feature-length documentary Take-Off from the Sand, which won the first prize at the Supreme Council of Culture in Switzerland.
