A Turkish actress, born in Izmir. She began studying ballet at the age of seven, and she graduated from the Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory Ballet Department. She appeared as a dancer in a music video directed by her sister, Deniz Akel. However, due to some back problems, she was forced to quit ballet. Among her early roles was that in the series Hiç Bana Sordun Mu? (1996). In 1997, she played an important role in the successful Turkish series Kara Melek, after which she participated in Benim İçin Ağlama, then Kumsaldaki İzler. In 2005, she signed a deal with L'Oreal to work as a face for the brand in Turkey. She appeared in many TV series, such as Krem (2012-2013).
