Romanian actor and director, born on February 13, 1955, in Piatra Neamț, Romania. He graduated from the I.L. Caragiale Institute of Theatre and Film Arts in 1977. His works include Aferim! (2015), Scarred Hearts (2016), and I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians (2018). He received 5 UNITER awards from 1995 to 2012. In December 2000, then-President Emil Constantinescu awarded him with the National Order of Faithful Service with the rank of officer. |
