Then she studied acting at the Jean-Louis Barrault School of Theatre. She directed some theatrical performances, and in addition to that, she partook in dance performances with Merce Cunningham's company in 1955. She moved to California, became involved in the art scene, and was part of the feminist art movement in Europe and the United States in the early 1970s. She is known for Combat! (1962) and It Takes a Thief (1968). She died in Los Angeles, California.
