American actor born November 14, 1921 in Bayonne, New Jersey, USA as Robert Alba Keith. He received the NSFC Award in 1968 for Reflections in a Golden Eye (1967), the NYFCC Award in 1969, and the Golden Laurel Award in 1971 for The McKenzie Break (1970). He had a star on the Walk...Read more of Fame in 2008. He married actress Frances Helm ​(1948⁠–⁠1954)​, Judy Landon ​(1954⁠–⁠1969)​, and Victoria Young ​(1970- till his death). Among his most important works: Crusader (TV Series 1955–1956), The Parent Trap (1961), and Family Affair (TV Series 1966–1971). He appeared for the first time at the age of 3 with his father Robert Keith in Pied Piper Malone (1924). He graduated from East Rockaway High School, New York in 1939. He worked in radio and theater before World War II, and when the war broke out, he joined the marines with the automatic fire forces of the US and won several medals. He suffered from emphysema and lung cancer, and he was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on June 24, 1997 in Malibu, California, USA.
