Christina Aziz |
American author, YouTube blogger, and podcaster, born on August 24, 1977 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. He grew up in Orlando, Florida before attending Indian Springs School outside of Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Kenyon College in 2000 where he majored in English and religious studies. He worked as a student chaplain. His experience working with children with life-threatening illnesses inspired him to write "The Fault in Our Stars".
He lived for several years in Chicago where he worked for the book review journal Booklist as a publishing assistant and production editor while writing "Looking for Alaska", and while there, he reviewed hundreds of books, especially on literary fiction and Islam. He won the 2006 Michael L. Printz Award for his debut novel, "Looking for Alaska" which was number one on The New York Times Best Seller list. His credits include Paper Town (2015).
