A Lebanese actress, film director, and producer, who earned a master’s degree in communications art from the Sorbonne University in Paris, in addition to a master’s degree in journalism. Labaki began her career by working on some French and Brazilian television channels and won the Best Documentary Film Award in Hollywood in 2005 for the film The Armenians of Lebanon.
Her credits include many cultural, social, and documentary films and reports, through which she made her directorial and production imprint. Her film I Knocked on Freemasonry's Door appeared in three versions; Arabic, French, and English. It deals with the topic of Freemasonry in the world.
She also wrote and directed the series Beirut 6:07 (2020). Labaki also dabbled in radio in 2003 by presenting a humorous segment on the morning program La Bonne Humeur on the Light FM radio station.
