Dalia Saad |
An Iranian actor, born in 1937 in Khoy, Iran. With more than 40 years of experience in the motion picture industry, he appeared in over 90 films. He was among the first to participate in American and European co-productions, such as Caravans (1978). In May 2000, renowned director Abbas Kiarostami honored him for his many contributions to Iranian cinema by giving him the Akira Kurosawa Prize, which Kiarostami received for lifetime achievement in directing at the 44th San Francisco International Film Festival. He co-starred with his wife, actress Googoosh, in a number of films such as Honeymoon (1976). His works include Escape from the Trap (1971) and Tight Spot (1973).
