An American actor and media personality, born on April 30, 1938, in California. During his career that spanned more than four decades, Collins participated in dozens of television shows, including Love, American Style, Charlie's Angels, and JAG. Among his notable films is Airport (1970). He also worked as a presenter in addition to his acting career. Collins won an Emmy for talk show Hour Magazine, in addition to being the host of the Miss America pageant for several years. He passed away on October 13, 2012, at the age of 74 in Mississippi. |
