A Belgian actress, born in Brussels, Belgium. Her real name was Léonie Cooreman. SAfter relocating to Paris, she became well-known on stage and in movies. Along with her several appearances at the Paris Olympia in France, she boasted of her successful singing career. Her most well-known songs are "Tata Yoyo" from 1950 and "La Ballade de Davy Crockett" from 1956, both of which received widespread praise. The most of her creative life was spent in France. Following her 1954 debut, she gained notoriety for her roles in a number of well-known French films. In 2004, she received the title of Baron in honor of her accomplishments. Among her most famous works are Royal Affairs in Versailles (1954), Le chanteur de Mexico (1956), and Ces dames s'en mêlent (1965) and Le Chat (1971). She died of a heart attack at her home in Vallauris on September 4, 2020.
