She represented Egypt at the Arab Lawyers Union's Conference and at the Al-Mirbad Poetry Festival for several years, and won the ideal university scarf for Cairo University in 1956, and the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Prize for Poetic Creativity for Best Poetry. In 1990, after suffering from illness, the poet Aleyya El Ga'ar died on April 7, 2003.
