An Egyptian actor and director. He is a professor of Theater Direction at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts at the Academy of Arts. He holds a PhD from Leeds Metropolitan University in England. He is a recipient of the State Encouragement Award in the Arts in 1999. He directed and supervised more than 50 works of art at the local, Arab and international levels. He produced the first Egyptian Olympics. He directed the play "The Wooden Mother" at The Artistic House of Theatre, in 1999. He also participated with this play in the Neapolis International Festival for Children's Theater, as well as the Carthage Theater Festival, in 1999. Among his works: The Leader of Preachers and Downtown Girls.
